My name’s Charlie (not really, that’s my nom du clavier) and I just moved to a new town with my family. My wife is in grad school, and my three sons are in elementary and middle school. Me? I’m a stay-at-home dad right now, though also enrolled in college. We don’t have much money, or any land to speak of, but we want to eat more locally while staying on a tight food budget. I’m studying this process and its environmental, economic, and social impacts for an independent learning contract through my college, and this blog is the product of that process. There’s more detail about the project here. Welcome aboard and I’ll call you for supper!
